Are you looking for a unique children’s book for your child?
This picture book features captivating photographic images of zoo animals presented in unique arty backgrounds to engage and educate children from 6 months to 6 years.
Sorry this book is currently out of stock.
Leave your details on the Contact page and I will let you know when more copies are available.

Unlike many other children’s books real photographs are used throughout the book giving the child a better understanding of the actual features of each animal.
Each page features a different animal with their name in large clear font below the image. This pairing of image and text helps develop the child’s early reading skills.
To encourage the child to have a more active involvement with the book each animal has been given a name and the animal speaks directly to the child. On some pages they are asked a question (what is your favourite food?) and on others some action is suggested (stand up straight like a Meekat, roar like a lion).

A number of additional fun activities are included in the back of the book to build children’s observation skills and memory.
In the ‘Who in the Zoo do I belong to’ section of the book children are asked to look at images of part of an animal and to identify which animal they belong to.
This encourages the child to look closely at the detail included in the image and to try to remember which of the animals in the book it belongs to.

The book has been reviewed by a Early Childhood Educator and has been tested in the classroom with rave reviews from the children.
“An inspirational picture book filled with realistic photo images of zoo animals to engage, inform, motivate, encourage discussion and stimulate curiosity in the younger reader.

An enjoyable experience worth sharing. ”
